About Me

I became a professional actor at the age of 14 when I booked a national radio commercial playing a bratty babysitter yelling at the parents of the kids I was watching. Thus began a career playing off-beat, bizarre, and downright awesome characters.

I made my Broadway debut at age 20 in the ensemble of Grease with Rosie O’Donnell, and went on to play Frenchie in The Life, as well as understudy the role of Tracy in the original company of Hairspray. Shortly thereafter I transitioned to film and television and have been seen on Law & Order, L&O: SVU, Broad City, New Amsterdam, and more.

I have worked with some of the best actors, playwrights, and directors in the world and have had characters built specifically for me. It’s been amazing.

At the same time I began my acting career I began my love of books and stories. I was not a natural reader, I actually detested it as a child, but at the age of 14 my father made a bet with me; I agreed to finish one book, and if I still didn’t want to read once I was finished, he would leave me alone about reading.

He gave me Cujo by Stephen King. I haven’t stopped reading since.

I am passionate about books and stories of all kinds and have discovered that one of my greatest joys is developmental editing. To help an author bring forth the best version of their story is a rush like no other.

Storytelling is in our nature, and we know so much of our history, both personal and societal, because of the stories we have been told. Stories are also a means of escape and a portal to imagination, allowing people to experience a multitude of lives, viewpoints, and opinions without ever leaving their homes.

It is the stories we tell that help define who we are and expand our horizons. I’ve spent a good deal of my life telling stories as an actor, and now, as an editor, I will help you tell yours.

Whether you write short stories, novels, teleplays, screenplays, or scripts, I can help you develop the best version of your story and send it out into the world for all to see.
